The Four Discernment Questions
Is this for me alone?
Sometimes God speaks something just for you โ a personal encouragement, a reminder of who you are, or a private instruction. It's okay if the word is only for your own heart.
Is this for one specific person?
God might give you something encouraging to share with one friend or family member. Ask a trusted adult to help you share it kindly and wisely.
Is this for the body?
Sometimes what God shares with you is for the whole group โ your church, your class, or our Peacemakers Kids community. These are messages of encouragement for everyone.
Am I excited, or am I led?
This is the most important question! Am I sharing because it's exciting and I want attention โ or because God is truly nudging me? A led word is quiet, peaceful, and points to Jesus.
๐๏ธ Remember: God's voice always agrees with His Word, always brings peace, and always points to Jesus.
